Ryan Money currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia where he bought his first home. Ryan Money is a caring individual with a soul of solace, he alleviates himself from the discomfort of sorrow, misfortune, and trouble, although he declares to find comfort in the presence of calamity.

Ryan spent the early teenage years of his life like most of New Orleans youth, running the streets and smothered in crime. He was arrested several times for aggravated assault and possession of narcotics. Even at this early age he showed his maturity, when facing several charges he turned down the public defendants and used what little money he had saved and hired his own attorneys’. With his legal defense in order he was able to beat most of the charges brought against him and was ordered to pay a fifteen hundred dollar fine and serve three years of probation.

After being incarcerated he decided that this was defiantly not the life for him. “A man’s freedom is all he has, take away his freedom, take away his life, (2002, R. Money)”. He vowed to never live this type of life again and everything that he does from now on will put a smile on his mothers face.

Ryan Money began his music career as a teenager, performing at local hip hop and jazz clubs in New Orleans. He was signed to several local record companies in New Orleans, but most of the local companies were financially stressed and could not promote Ryan’s music in a manner suitable to compete with the huge companies in the business. He and his younger brother ShermW aka ShermDub formed a group called Currency. The group was picked up and signed by a local record company in New Orleans. They performed several shows together and recorded numerous songs. The collaboration did not produce the success the brothers were hoping for.

In 2001 Ryan first child was born, a little girl who he named Tiara. Around this time he put his music career on hold, accepting the responsibility of a father and securing a job to provide for his new family.

In the early months of 2004 Ryan decided that he could not provide a decent living for his family in New Orleans. The city was poverty ridden and the jobs were slim and underpaid. Ryan began to review several cities, hoping to find a descent place to move his family, he decided to move to Atlanta. Atlanta had a booming economy and it was not that far away from his home town, making it financially easier to up root and move.

Ryan Money describes life as a mirror that even if broken will not change ones reflection. “Life through my eyes triggers the desire to be a unique human being and follow the spiritual path that my creator has set fort for me” (2010, R. Money). “The opinion of what someone thinks of me is as meaningless as one grand of sand amongst the desert of the Sarah in Africa. He/she who smites me secretly is weak; furthermore he/she who hides behind a shadow of lies is blinded by sin, I forgive you. I can speak or w rite a thousand words, but I choose to let my presence speak for me. I have found serenity within myself and I no longer seek the approval of others, for I only have one life to live and I will live that life for myself and my creator. Blessed be he/she that helps the unfortunate and cursed be he/she who steals from the needy” (2010, R. Money).

Ryan Money, the Money is for the greed that once controlled and guided my life, no longer am I a slave to this transgression, therefore I bind the word after my first name, confining it to solitary.
